  • Hearing First
Hearing First provides information resources for families and professionals for supporting young children’s listening and spoken language development, social-emotional development, and early literacy.  Also offered are online communities for families and for professionals, and free online  courses. The following resources may be especially helpful for providers to review and share at this time as appropriate to the individual family. Professionals who wish to download free information resources from the website or take courses will need to create a log-in for access.
    • In response to current professional needs, Hearing First presented a webinar on 3/26/2020, Time for Telepractice. A framework for virtual home visits and coaching parents was provided, with several planning resources and home visit recording materials also shared. Hearing First has shared the recording and materials with those who participated in the webinar. Resources referenced in the presentation can be downloaded from the Hearing First site with log-in.
