Deaf Hard of Hearing (DHH)

The Minnesota Department of Education provides information and resources to help families and educators meet the educational needs of Minnesota children and youth who have hearing loss. Children and youth who have varying types and degrees of hearing loss may be eligible to receive special education services through their local public school district. More information and resources are available on the MN Department of Education website under Special Education / Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Resources include information about the Minnesota Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Lending Library, Minnesota Rule language regarding eligibility for educational support services, educator resources, sign language and interpreter resources, and related links.
